Empire Zoysia Sod is a beautiful lush green sod that is soft to the touch with tight blade growth. Despite being so soft, Empire is also very strong and holds up well to wear.
It has a deep, thick root system and is drought tolerant. Empire Zoysia sod requires minimal maintenance - it is strong, doesn't require much water and is naturally resistant to chinch bugs and chemicals. Empire Zoysia sod should be mowed lower at 1"-2" than other Central Florida sod types.
